Their mother Cotherstone Devil In Drag is Top Brood bitch 2014.
We are also Top Breeders 2014!!

What a year we have had!!

Ch. Cotherstone Duchenne is known as Smile at home. She is a very loving and smart bitch. She was born on the 25th March 2010. She has been doing very well in the show ring.
She qualified for the Scottish Show Dog of the Year 2012, 2013 & 2014!!

Welsh Kennel Club
Smile wins another RCC taking her to a total of 12 CCs and 6 RCCs.
Peapod won his 21st CC also!

Southern Counties - 12th CC & BoB

Smile has attended one show this year and she won her 12th CC & Best of Breed!!

Ch. Cotherstone Duchenne wins her 10th CC under judge Anne McDonald.
Peapod went on to win Hound Group 3 under judge Andrew Brace.
Smile also won 3rd place in a large Ch. Stakes under judge Peter Jolly.

1st Open Bitch and 8th CC

Smile won her 7th CC and Best of Breed at Blackpool Championship Show under judge Andrew Brace.

She showed her socks off in the Hound Group and was shortlisted to the last 8 under judge Pat Clayton.

Our good friend Kay Constantine handled Smile and her brother Peapod in the
Dog World Brace Stakes under judge Jill Peak.
Kay handled them beautifully and went on to win the class.(second year in a row at this show)
So a huge thank you to Kay!!

Was a lovely day with Peapod also winning the Reserve CC and we all gathered and had a picnic and a glass of wine.

Smile showed beautifully today gaining her 5th CC and was Best Of Breed to top it off.
Her brother Peapod could not attend as the judge had already given him a CC and BoB last time she judged.

She was shortlisted to the final 8 in the Best In Show ring under judge Michael Gadsby.

The Deerhound Breed Show
Telford 2014

Smile showed beautifully today at the Deerhound Breed show, winning Open Bitch
and Reserve Best Bitch.
Her litter brother Peapod won Open Dog, Best Dog and Best In Show.
Smile also won Best Bred By Exhibitor the following day under judge Mrs B Schone Brodwell.

Crufts 2014

Smile won a fabulous open bitch class (17,1)
and then the Bitch CC.

Scottish Kennel Club Top Show Dog of The Year
Smile qualified as one of the top 26 Scottish show dogs at this annual competition. Her brother Peapod was second at this event.

Our good friend Kay Constantine very kindly came to handle Smile for us as Ali was working at the event representing the sponsors, Royal Canin.

Smile won BoB Deerhound and BEST IN SHOW today at Scottish Breeds Open Show
Peapod her litter brother (Ch. Cotherstone Shot And Steel) won BOS.

Darlington September 2013 Crowning CC
& 1st Deerhound Brace

So pleased to announce that Smile won her Crowning CC at Darlington this year.
Smile actually won her 2nd CC at this same show the year before.
Her litter brother also won the CC and BoB this year and her niece Cotherstone Islay Mist of Kaleginy won Puppy Bitch & Best Puppy!
A fabulous day for the Cotherstone Team.

We also had a real laugh as Ali whilst running in the bitch challenge slipped and fell into the mud!
Funnily enough, a few years back, I slipped and fell in the mud under this same judge whilst showing Smiles Uncle Sam (Cotherstone Buckskin),
however, thankfully, no one snapped a picture of me!
